Stock I Will Watch for Tuesday September 16, 2014

(End of Day Updates are highlighted like this.)

Going to try and set up a scan using finviz: We will see what we can come up with tonight!

Yesterday I think I used my TweetDeck and subscription to Timothy Sykes and SuperTrades alerts to help me find picks. Which I will still do!

First I will look at stocks in play. Stocks I have heard about in the last few days. It's always a good idea to find stocks that have recently been moving or had a lot of chatter. I will first look at (http://www.allpennystocks.com/aps_us/hot_nasdaq_stocks.asp) and what do you know:

Look who shows up: $NETE, $AMRN, $OTIV

$NETE
NETE was the biggest play with a +$2.52 change, and AMRN was up only .32 but makes the list since it had a pretty major gap down. 9/11 closed at 1.82, and 9/12 opened 1.46 and closed at 1.46, lots of pople bought it thinking it would go up. But it went down even further.

$NETE had an overnight gap up to open at 3.01 (closed the night before at 2.88), popped up in the morning to 3.35 and then headed down to the 2.65 range by 10am.

Almost hit 3 again around 1pm and 2:30pm then dropped off to close at 2.60. -.28 cents on the day but -.75 cent panic from 9:30am to 10:10am. If you were lucky it could have been a good short.

$ISNS
ISNS has been in play lately too. Popped from 6.67 on 9/2/14 to open 9.15 on 9/3/14 and has gone down almost every day and closed at 4.62 yesterday. Will watch, might be a good short if it keeps going down. Point is , it is moving a lot, so good stock to watch. Short.

Up 4.11% (+0.19) on the day but with 2 notable 0.30 cent pops with immediate drops possible if you were watching. It Gapped down overnight but filled up quickly, followed by a drop, pop and drop. Two pops. Found this one and two other mentioned here by looking at Twitter Chatter.

$SINO
SINO global is what we call a supernova. Looking at FinViz.com it shows up at the top gainers and unusual volume lists. Usually a low volume stock. But went from open 1.53 to close 2.5105 with a volume of 1,588,400.

SINO Gapped up 1.54 overnight to open at 4.05, but closed at 3.28 which means it was down on the day but still up .77 or (3.34%) from the previous close. Straight out of the gate it dropped a whole $1 from 4.40 to 3.40 by 9:50pm.
I never really use fibonacci retracement but when I put it on the stock from the first drop and the second pop, the doubled up lines formed great crack and pop lines... if that makes sense. But where the lines doubled up, when the stock broke through it it either kept going up or came way down.

Either way I realize I didn't put whether I thought these stocks would go up or down. Just thought that they may have nice movement that you could get a couple (.20-.40) cents a share movement on.

For now I'm just looking for signals that might signal either strength or weakness in these stocks.

FINVIZZZZ....ZZZZZ....ZZZZ.Z.Z.Z.!

Okay so now I will go to Finviz and login to create a screen:
Find the screener tab, and click basic:
Put your order on 'VOLUME', select the 'TECHNICAL' tab, and 'BASIC' tab underneath:

Scan 1 - Green Scan
Then you will be able to put "Performance" on 'Today UP', "Performance 2" on 'Today +5%', "Change" to 'Up', "Change from Open" to 'Up'

Scan 2 - Green Scan 2
Performance - Today UP, Performance 2 - Today +5%, Volatility - Week-Over 5%, Change - Up, Change from open - Up, Pattern - Horizontal S/R, Average True Range - Over 0.25

Using BigCharts to capture screen shots of previous day:

$BONE -

I used a one minute intra day chart here. So I will post a two day minute chart to compare
Not much action but as you can see there was one break above the resistance at 5.35 range that popped and caused a volume spike. Could have caught a .40 long or short following unusual volume spike.
Nothing much here though, due to low volume I will probably not expect this stock to do much, just had good range potential which was about a 0.70 spread throughout the day.

$CNCE

Came out good here is this next chart:
Shit somehow lost the screenshot I took from yesterday, but you get the idea.. it had a $1.50 range on the day. Slow moving and pretty low volume since the stock chart seems choppy. Double top green bars aroune 2pm then three red bars caused a reversal from 13.70 to 12.75ish within an hour.

$VIMC

Well... I did the same thing here (lost yesterday's screenshot) but the thing to note is I found these using FinViz scan yesterday and they popped today. $VIMC was a GREAT find. Open 6.58, range from high to low was 6.31 to 9.38 which is a $3 spread on the day.
Major volume started to hit around 10:40am and then it started going up, up, up.
Fibonacci retrace shows it stayed above a 50% spike so it may stay strong for tomorrow. Will keep it on the list.

I will watch these and see what happens tomorrow, then add, after market notes on all stocks mentioned here!

Good Night!
